HIV Healed
On Saturday, the last day of my six days teaching conference in Gboko, in 2011, hosted at Deeper Life Regional Head Quarters, on the platform of the PFN, which was an impartation service, as I finished with those who needed one-on-one counseling, I was making moves to leave when a young man sitting apart, walked to me and said, “Sir, what of me? I was waiting for you to finish with others..” And I sat back down. His story was that before he got saved, he had a Girlfriend. But when he gave his heart to the Lord, he told her he wouldn’t continue in that lifestyle any more. That was when she told him, she had been HIV positive all the while they related, the information was meant to be a hit back, for dumping her. Afraid, he went to check his status and discovered he had already contacted it.
“….Sir, I have prayed for forgiveness, I’ve fasted and done all I can to be free from this thing, but until now, I still get a “positive” result when I check my status. I am a Student of the University of Maiduguri, and a member of this church, I was in school, but it is for this program I came all the way here, as soon as the programme is over, I am going back to school….” He said. Aid hands in him and declared him free, then asked him to go for a confirmatory check.
On Tuesday the following week at about 11 am, I was in Abuja for another meeting when my phone rang showing a strange number. The caller at the other end was trying to remind me who he was.
“…sir, I am the HIV victim you just prayed for on Saturday during your program in Gboko, I am calling you from Maiduguri. Sir, there is a miracle! I am just coming from the hospital where I went to check my status once again as you instructed, and for the first time sir, my result is Negative!! I am free sir, I am free!!…“
He spoke, so excitedly on the phone! So, what is “IMPOSSIBLE”? With God, “IMPOSSIBLE” does not exist!
